Expanding our impact with a new site in Conway, Arkansas!

For many of the youth we serve, the path toward healing can be a lonely journey and fraught with many challenges. However, when their path leads them to Immerse, they are welcomed with open arms and supported with meaningful relationships that help them discover the best versions of themselves in a place defined by love and dreams of a restored future.
In keeping with our vision of doing whatever it takes to protect Arkansas’ youth, we have dreamed of expanding our programming to more Arkansas communities for some time now. This was really important to us because youth from crisis feel more at ease when they have the opportunity to heal in a community they’re familiar with, in a place they have a strong connection to.

We wanted to open our second site in a community that would come together to make a difference in the lives of Arkansas’ youth, a community defined by hospitality, neighborliness, and the spirit of service—that’s why we knew that Conway would be the perfect fit for our second location!
Our new Conway office will be the perfect setting for our LifeBASE Teen program, since much of our work often takes place in homes. This transitional program is specifically designed for teens ages 14-18 who are in foster care or who have been adopted. We work with each teen and foster/adoptive family to meet their unique needs by providing them with training and one-on-one support.
Some of the features of the LifeBASE Teen program include life-skills training, parenting resources, and dedicated volunteers who build relationships with our youth as mentors. We want these teens and families to think of our new office as another home, a place where they can feel loved and supported on their journey toward healing.
Because of the generous support of our friends, donors, and recurring Monthly Partners, we were able to make our dream of program expansion into a reality. We could not do this without you, and we are grateful for all of your support as we expand our programming into a new community.

Our new location in Conway will allow us to help more youth from crisis access the resources they need to heal from the trauma they’ve experienced. We want them to experience a restored future without limitations. And we want these youth to feel supported and safe in a place they call home: Conway.
